This isn’t easy…ever. But I think it’s something that needs to be discussed and made public. Before I start this isn’t a call out or meant to make people stop being friends with this person. It’s just a way so people can stay safe and not go through what I had to go through. In February of 2016 I began dating a friend who goes by the name ScarfDyedShadow and variants of that online. We had known each other for many years by this point. During this relationship, I was frequently gaslit, yelled at, and manipulated to feel the way she wanted me to feel, as well as frequently given the cold shoulder and ignored when she didn’t want to deal with me. These are all things she has admitted to on multiple occasions to me and others.
(She has since deleted her initial Discord account)
After our break-up I initially tried to remain friends with her and the abuse only got worse. I was frequently called names, insulted, and gaslit even more heavily with her trying to separate me and my friend group with her saying to many of my friends that I was the toxic one and calling those who disagreed with her and instead agreed with me people who just agree with everything I say. Even saying I broke up with her because we ‘argued too much’.
During this time he attempts at separating me and my friends eventually succeeded with our mutual chat dying. A new chat had begun sometime before this which I was not in. When I tried to join it, she once more gaslit me.
And was privately telling people to not add me while telling me to not join which has been confirmed to me from other people. When I found out about this months later, her initial response was to lie.
Only to admit to it later
I’m not saying to not be friends with her. This isn’t a call out. This is just for my conscience to be lifted that no one would have to be put through what I was. If anyone wants to see anything further, message me.
